Quilting Group

Meets on Wednesdays at 9:00 am. Since 2010, the Quilting group has made over 500 quilts that have been donated to a variety of mission organizations locally, nationally and internationally.
The quilts serve as a home for the poor, comfort for the sick and lonely, a special remembrance and also have helped to raise funds for special mission projects. If you would like to be a part of this wonderful ministry, please contact the church office (203) 748-3320 or email churchoffice@immanueldanbury.org.

Supportive Hands

A small group ministry established in 2011 assisting Immanuel Lutheran Church and School families. Our mission is to connect members of Immanuel Lutheran Church and School who have time and talents to assist those in our spiritual family who have need of a helping hand.
If you are a member with needs during this current health crisis, please contact the church office at (203)748-3320 or email churchoffice@immanueldanbury.org.

Comfort Dogs

This ministry consists of two golden retrievers as well as many handlers and helpers that are on a mission to spread comfort and alleviate the stress of all people they encounter. Addie and Leah are comfort dogs owned by Immanuel Lutheran Church in Danbury, Connecticut. Through the love of Comfort Dogs Addie and Leah, people have the opportunity to relax and share their feelings.
Whether we are visiting schools, nursing homes, hospice, or shut-ins, we seek to offer the compassion of Christ to everyone we meet all over our surrounding areas. Through invitations from individuals and facilities, we work wherever invited in our community and the surrounding areas. We never charge for our visits. Our ministry is comprised solely of volunteers.

Jericho Partnership

A nonprofit collaboration of word and deed ministry organizations and congregations dedicated to serving the at-risk community.
Born out of a deep love for God, Jericho Partnership exists to share the love of Christ by serving our neighbors in urban Danbury – the under-served, the disadvantaged, the struggling, the poor, the homeless, the needy … the most vulnerable.
