Skills + Character=

Physical Education @Immanuel

A physical education class at ILS aims to:

  • Meet the needs of all students;

  • Keep students active for most of physical education class time;

  • Teach self-management

  • Emphasize knowledge and skills for a lifetime of physical activity; and

  • Is a fun and enjoyable experience for all students!

Physical education classes provide Immanuel students with a standards-based program designed to develop motor skills, knowledge and behaviors for active living, and physical fitness.

At Immanuel, we believe that the athletic arena is just another arena where students learn to exhibit Christ-like character.  Time-honored qualities of hard work, commitment, cooperation, and fair play are natural benefits to our program.
